ABOUT THE INSTITUTION:

Shri Andal Alagar College of Engineering (SAACE) was established in the year 2001 by Shri Andal Alagar Educational Trust with the noble aim "To provide Technical Education to all". The founder of the trust is a popular film star, philanthropist and a leading Politician of Tamil Nadu Thiru Puratchi Kalaignar Vijaykant.

Discipline, Character and Education are the three tenets for which SAACE stands, is certainly the heaven where values blend seamlessly to churn out engineers for future.

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING:

The Department of ECE started at the year of 2001, has dedicated itself to improve the quality education, academic excellence and developing both community oriented and industry based research.

With full fledged laboratories, highly qualified faculty, advanced equipments and testing machines and professional software, the department has been demonstrating remarkable progress towards achievement.

KRETVGANZA2k13, a circuit recreation festival of Department of ECE has geared up with huge expectations and invites students from all around the country to exhibit their dexterity and perspicacity. This year, the symposium will be an action packed experience on Sept 27^th, 2013 with a huge package of events and rocking talents. The countdown to KRETVGANZA2k13 Fest has begun.

RULES:

·        Paper must be in ieee format not exceeding more than 6 pages

·        maximum of three participants are allowed for presenting the paper

·        Selection process purely depends on the innovation, format and originality of the paper

·        Mail the full paper to kretvganza13@gmail.com on or before 16.09.13.

·        Selected papers will be intimated by mail on or before 20.09.13.

·        Registration fee per team is Rs.200/-

 ON THE DAY OF PRESENTATION:

·        Three hard copies and a soft copy must be submitted

·        Avoid cd/dvd

·        Total 10 minutes will be awarded for presentation (8mins for presentation and 2 mins for queries)

·        Id cards are mandatory.

·        Send your paper along with your college details

·        Dress code for paper presentation participants are only "formals"

·        judges decision is final

ROBO WAR

“Older men declare war. But it is youth that must fight and die.”  So why waiting. ?!  Bring on your soldiers to showcase what they are capable of and win over others……remember….success is always sweet !!

RULES AND  SPECIFICATIONS:

·       Height of the bot must be less than 30cm

·       Weight must be around 2 to 3 kg

·       Weapons should be properly concealed

·       No pyro-techniques are allowed

·       Battery should not contain any liquid substance that can spill during battle

·       The event consists of 3 rounds- Preliminary, semi-final and final.

ROBO RACE (ROBO KART)

It is an Event where you can showcase your Robot’s talent among other bot’s by racing among them. Make your robots ready to travel along the given path.

                   RULES AND REGULATIONS:

·        Bot to be brought by the participants

·        Dimensions : 30x30x30 cm

·        Wired or wireless bot is allowed

·        Readymade kits are not allowed

·        Bot should be waterproof and fireproof

·        Bot’s voltage level should not be more than 24volts

·        Only rubber tyres. There should be no spikes on the tyres

·        Detailed information of track will be revealed on the time of event.
